It will give me great pleasure to recieve from your brother the Review of El Buscapie, of which you speak.' His contributions, as well as your own, I trust to make always welcome to the pages of 'our Review'. If sent to the Publisher, J. S. Burges, Charleston, by the 15th. August, and not too long, I should find a place for it, I believe, in our October issue. If sooner the better. Our July number has been published, & is no doubt already in your hands. Indisposition alone has prevented me from answering your letter in regard to your late contribution for the South. Quarterly. But I have been by no means regardless of your interests. As soon as I recieved your communication, I covered it to Mr. Burges, the
