    Clipping consists of a reprinting of Barnard Elliot's letter to his wife on the day following the Battle of Fort Moultrie.  Elliot was a Lieutenant Colonel of the Continental Corps of Artillery in South Carolina, and his letter originally appeared in Charleston's South Carolina and American General Gazette.
