SIMMS SIGNET RING FOUND

Shortly after The Simms Review asked for the whereabouts of Simms's signet ring
in Summer 1996, Simms Oliphant Jr. of Columbia, South Carolina, called the
editor with the great news that he was, as he spoke, wearing it. Mr. Oliphant was
encouraged to cast reproductions of the ring for interested members of the Society.
The Review will report progress on this excellent project.
