Attention all poets! This is an invitation to contribute an original, never before
published poem on or related to Simms or his work for the Simms Symposium
Poetry Prize. The deadline for submission is 1 August 2008. Submissions will
be judged by a panel based on poetic merit and faithfulness to Simms and his
career. Submissions will be judged without the author's identity known.
The first and second place winners and the two honorable mentions wil
be honoured with a special reading at the Simms Symposium. The winning entries
